Anyway, I went through your text and the referees suggestions and I found them sensible, then I went to your comments and suggestions, which actually can be accepted or not depending on how you will realize them. Therefore, provided that your Ms fits the scope of the journal and provides some interesting data, I recommend you to revise it according to the referees suggestions and submit it again.

The main interest of the Ms is related to the relative importance of
irrigation, climate and soil, in determining the terroir effect of every
vintage. Please better focus on that. As you rightly stated, precision
viticulture should be tailored according to soil type, because of the
overwhelming effect of soil conditions and consequent pedoclimate over year climatic conditions or irrigation, especially on premium wine results

In particular, I suggest the Authors to:
- better introduce soil properties, possibly through a profile description
and analysis (please also explain the meaning of "sand-adherence value" and groundwater depth). There is an inconsistency between your statement “The soil is typical from the Guadiana Valley, with a uniform profile, poorly differentiated.” With the reported soil classification “Haploxeralf (Aquic)” which just mean a differentiated soil profile. Moreover, I think that aquic conditions might have played an
important role on the outcomes, as well as on the terroir effect.
- explain how you interpolated soil properties and why pH changes from year to year
- the text is sometimes rather long and descriptive, it could be somewhat
shortened and simplified, stressing the results which support your research
hypothesis
- re-read for the English style, which is sometimes still rather poor: there
are even mistakes of grammar and orthography. It cannot be published as
such.
